Dr Benjamin Apap has a degree in a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complimentary Medicine), a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic and is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia. He has experience in wide range of chiropractic techniques with a particular focus in low-force adjusting techniques that are gentle, safe and effective for patients of all ages. In addition, secondary modalities are often used with his treatments, which include massage, dry needling and mobilisation.

Benjamin is passionate about helping his patients understand the root cause of their injury, allowing them to appreciate the importance of spinal health to prevent other problems in the future. He believes in the combination of regular chiropractic care, exercise, a healthy diet and relaxation to help achieve optimal health and wellbeing.

Dr Amy Delac has a three year Bachelor Degree and two year Master’s Degree at RMIT and she is passionate about Chiropractic and working with the patients towards achieving optimal health and wellbeing.

Amy practices a variety of gentle and effective treatments and techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), dry needling and soft tissue therapies. These treatment types are effective for all age groups, including infants and the elderly.

Amy is a very knowledgeable practitioner with extensive experience working in Out-Reach clinics in St Kilda and Collingwood. She is passionate about Chiropractic and working with the Glengala Health patients to achieve better health and wellbeing.

Dr Matt Barton has been a practicing chiropractor since graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science – Chiropractic in 2020. 
 
Dr Matt’s person-centred approach and focus on holistic care, has led him to having a special interest in caring for those with chronic pain. Being able to assist patients in improving their pain and mobility, brings a strong sense of fulfillment in bettering these patients’ quality of life and overall health. 
 
Dr Matt employs a range of therapeutic techniques including gentle and effective manual joint manipulation/ mobilisation, trigger point and deep tissue therapy as well as utilising activator adjustments.
 
When Dr Matt is not in the clinic, you will find him busy rock climbing, staying active and out exploring with his dog Charlie. Dr Matt is a footy fanatic; you will be hard pressed to find him not up to date on all the latest AFL games!

Magda has had the opportunity to practice as a psychologist in a vast range of settings and has experience providing intervention for children, adolescents, and adults. Magda has experience in treating a range of mental health issues across the life span such as anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, stress-related problems, self-esteem, developmental, learning, and behavioural difficulties, intellectual disability, post-traumatic stress disorder, attachment and trauma-related disorders, grief, and adjustment. Magda follows a person-cantered and strength-based approach utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Preferred modalities are Emotional Freedom Technique and Hypnotherapy. Magda also speaks Afrikaans fluently.

Maila completed her Medical and Family Medicine Degrees in the Philippines. She then moved to Singapore and completed her Diploma in Family Medicine at University of Singapore. She has over ten years of practice in Singapore in General Practice, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation. She then migrated to Melbourne, after over a year of practice in Sydney, and has been practicing in Australia for over 5 years. She recently became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Chris is a graduate of La Trobe University, having completed the Bachelor of Applied Science/ Master of Podiatric Practice, and is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Through his studies at University and attending seminars and educational workshops, Chris has developed a variety of skills within the podiatry realm and aims to consistently deliver the highest level of patient satisfaction. Chris believes patients are to be treated as active participants in their health care, and should be empowered by practitioners to take action. Therefore, Chris places emphasis on providing patient education and including patient directed interventions as part of his care plans. Chris works in collaboration with patients to determine their goals, before developing an individually tailored care plan, that is considerate of their wider health and wellbeing needs.

Chris is interested in all areas of podiatry, while he has a passion for biomechanics and the management of musculoskeletal conditions of the leg and foot through multifaceted approaches. Chris has also worked closely with elderly patients, and is very familiar with the types of care that they require. As a new graduate, Chris is familiar with the most recent podiatry literature that informs the care he provides to his expanding patient base.

Natalie graduated with a dual qualification- A diploma of Remedial Massage and an Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy and has qualifications in cupping and dry needling. She specialises in joint mobilisations, functional movement, rehabilitation and pain management.

Natalie is quite active, having coached and played competitive tennis from a very young age and has previously worked in all levels of football with Melbourne Football Club, Northern Blues Football Club and currently a head trainer at her local Football Club. She prides herself on building a strong relationship with each and every one of her clients so that they will be treated in the very best way possible and work closely together to eliminate presenting issue.

She has also completed training in the non-diet approach, infant nutrition and eating disorders through The Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED). Theresa is currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy at Endeavour College of Natural Health and understands the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle along with incorporated Chiropractic care for overall general well-being as she has also been a patient at this clinic for many years herself. Now through her studies and experiences as part of the Glengala Health team, she wishes to strengthen her knowledge of the many modalities that make up complementary health care.

Renae Wilke

Renae has completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at La Trobe University, and is now studying a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. In 2015, Renae also completed a Certificate III in Sports and Recreation, and in 2019 undertook an internship with Exercise Research Australia, where she also obtained a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.

Her experience in the Allied Health field combined with her own treatments, means that Renae understands the importance of maintaining good health through Allied Health care. Renae strongly recommends Chiropractic care combined with the care of other disciplines, for the abundance of benefits they provide.
